VINCENT B. ROLLINS
(approx. 1800 - 1844/1846)
Vincent Rollins was very active in his church in Rutherford county, North Carolina. At age 14 he was a member of the Anabaptist Church; later he and others formed the new High Shoals Baptist Church where he was appointed as clerk. Vincent Rollins may have had 9 or more children, including Moses Waters Rollins (see following section). -- The image below is a copy of a daguerreotype, a common type of photo used from 1839 until the introduction of the reproducible negative in 1851. The daguerreotype was found with other family photos, and unfortunately did not have a name inscribed on it. It is believed to be of Vincent Rollins.
